Final Notes
Ramshorns are hermaphrodites that lay small jelly clusters of eggs on glass and leaves, so numbers rise quickly if you overfeed; ration food to control the colony. They are air breathers and may float or glide upside down at the surface. Copper medications and hard-water deficiency are the main risks, so provide calcium. Healthy adults rarely damage plants and quietly tidy leftovers, and the pink shell looks superb against dark substrate and green foliage.
